We are currently seeking a Shift Engineer to join the Maintenance team at Lincoln Plaza London, Curio Collection by Hilton. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will help ensure that the hotel’s facilities, plant room and equipment are maintained to the highest standard, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for both guests and team members.
The Duties of Our Shift Engineer Include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive maintenance tasks across the hotel.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in a range of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabric.
- Completing routine maintenance checks to ensure all hotel equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and public areas.
- Assisting with emergency repairs and troubleshooting technical issues during shifts.
- Working closely with the housekeeping and front office teams to minimise disruption to guests.
- Supporting external contractors when they are on site.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work and reporting issues to the Engineering leadership team.
Our Shift Engineer Will Have the Following Attributes:
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance, building maintenance, or facilities engineering preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, or plumbing systems.
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays if required.
