Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Sustainability reporting process

  • Design and implement processes to ensure adherence to sustainability protocols and accurate data collection.
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory requirements and upcoming ESG-related policies.
  • Assess market trends, policy frameworks, and compensation mechanisms for carbon management.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for data and reporting alignment.
  • Regularly update senior management through reports and presentations
  • Prepare sustainability reports in line with BRSR standards.

ESG communication support

  • Assist leadership and branding & communications teams in articulating ESG progress and strategies.
  • Lead engagement with internal communications and external stakeholders for branding activities
  • Prepare and support presentations for Management Committee and Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track Social and Governance targets and key deliverables.

Reporting automation & digitization

  • Lead vendor engagement and reporting on innovative technologies for sustainability reporting tools.
  • Conduct studies with shortlisted partners and support technical evaluations of digital solutions.
  • Compare technologies during conceptual stages and develop execution plans for tool deployment.

Ad-hoc analytical & administrative support

  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from ESG and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide administrative support across ESG-related activities and initiatives.

Market intelligence

  • Conduct regular market scans and track ESG developments across sustainability domains.
  • Collaborate with Head of ESG to review proposals, policy drafts, and strategic inputs.

Data collection, content creation and design of the report, implement processes to ensure adherence to sustainability process and collection of suitable data.

  •  Monitor and analyze the regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with teams/ SPOC (internal stake holders and external stake holders)
  • Regularly update stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations
  • Work on Sustainability report as per national and international std

Supply Chain management and ESG disclosures

  •  Manage all ESG disclosures related activities for supply chain management.
  • Drive and conduct supply chain management requirements as per SEBI guidelines, collaborate with procurement team closely.

Training & Awareness

  • Prepare training modules & conduct training for ESG to the freshers/newcomers & employees.
  • Conduct awareness sessions for identified gaps for related functions & drive implementation.
  • Identify relevant trainings for upskilling of ESG team & co-ordinate with relevant functions for implementation.


Qualifications

Knowledge:

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Graduate Engineer of Environmental or any discipline. 
  • Further education in Business Management is an advantage.
  • Working experience in software tools would be added advantage

Relevant Experience 

  • 7-12 years of working experience in a consultancy or industrial company (Chemical / Petrochemicals)
  • Awareness of ESG as a subject, GOI regulations etc
  • Petrochemicals knowledge an advantage.
